Every landing page, every test, starts out as someone’s vision of something, a plan – at least ideally. This is one of the many reasons to work backwards from a business objective. Objectives cut through politics, resource availability, internal expertise, outsourcing considerations, and map what’s important for the bottomline. Later, all those things will come in, and you should have a plan for them – but it’s important to keep to the original objective when dealing with all those considerations.
