Tim Ash (download extended bio) is the President and CEO of SiteTuners and its parent company Epic Sky. He is the author of Amazon.com e-commerce bestseller Landing Page Optimization: The Definitive Guide To Testing and Tuning for Conversions (LandingPageOptimizationBook.com - John Wiley Press 2008). During his 20 year involvement with the Internet, Tim has worked with American Express, Sony Music, Verizon Wireless, American Honda, COMP USA, Harcourt Brace & Co., Universal Studios, Eaton, American Red Cross, Texas Instruments, 1-800-Flowers.com, Red Envelope, SAIC, Pyxis, and B.F. Goodrich Aerospace to develop successful Internet initiatives. Before joining Epic Sky he co-founded Future Focus; an Internet business accelerator. Prior to that he worked in a variety of management and technical roles at SAIC, HNC Software (now a division of Fair Isaac), NCR, and the U.S. Navy. He has chaired Internet conferences and spoken internationally at numerous industry events including Search Engine Strategies, eMetrics, Affiliate Summit, PPC Summit, eComXpo, PC Expo, and Internet World. Tim is the "By The Numbers" expert columnist for Search Engine Watch, and has written many articles on harnessing the power of the Internet for business. He is a contributing columnist for several industry publications including Website Magazine, Electronic Retailer Online Strategies, and Visibility Magazine. He attended UC San Diego on a full U.C. Regents Scholarship (the highest academic scholarship awarded by the University of California), and received his dual-major B.S. in Computer Engineering and Cognitive Science "with highest distinction". Tim also completed his M.S. and C.Phil. degrees during his PhD. studies in computer science (specializing in neural networks and artificial intelligence) at UC San Diego. He is the past president of the iMarketers Association. Tim has completed the FastTrac entrepreneuership program through the Kauffman Foundation, and was also a member of the San Diego chapter of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO).

Robyn Benensohn - COO

Robyn is responsible for overseeing all operations of SiteTuners and its parent company Epic Sky. She has over fifteen years of experience using the Internet to improve business, originally with the Department of Defense/ARPA to develop interactive, realtime multimedia wargames that were played over the Internet. Prior to starting Epic Sky Robyn co-founded and served for seven years as the COO of Future Focus, an Internet business acceleration firm. She has held technical and managerial positions at AGE Logic (purchased by NetManage), Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC), and Scripps Institute of Oceanography (UCSD) since 1986 and has led the development of multi-million dollar custom software applications for the Internet. She has a broad-based background in the software industry in project management, product development and marketing, technical support, training, and system design. Robyn holds a B.S. degree in Astrophysics (yes she really is a rocket scientist!) from U.C. San Diego.

Greg White - VP, Sales & Business Development

Greg White has over twenty-two years experience in executive management, business development, and sales within the technology industry. He has demonstrated success in all aspects of early-stage company growth including strategic planning, team building, partnership development, and fundraising. Greg was President and CEO of Air-Trak, a mobile resource management and tracking company. Prior to that, he was also the Founder and CEO of Kablink, an innovative photo-sharing Web site. The privately funded company developed a means of quickly uploading images to the Web for consumer and business communications. Greg was also founding CEO of TriTeal, an enterprise software company. After three private funding rounds, TriTeal went public in the first wave of Internet IPOs. Prior to TriTeal, Greg worked in various sales management roles at Sun Microsystems, AGE Logic (now NetManage), Apollo Computer, and Hewlett Packard. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. Greg has served on the boards of the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation and the San Diego Software Industry Council, of which he was also President and Chairman.

Ted Dunning, Ph.D. - Chief Scientist

Ted has held the Chief Scientist positions at Veoh Networks, ID Analytics, MusicMatch, and Aptex Software (a subsidiary of Fair Isaac / HNC Software). He has developed and deployed advanced computer systems in such fields as identity theft prevention, consumer music recommendation, credit card fraud detection, and adaptive website tuning and price optimization. Prior to this, Ted served as the Principal Investigator and co-founder of the New Mexico State University Computing Research Laboratory. His projects there included ground-breaking work in computer vision, robotics, computer-human interface design, machine translation, and information retrieval. Ted is the holder of several patents as well as a prolific writer and the invited presenter at numerouse scientific and technical conferences. He received his B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado. Ted also completed his M.S. in Computer Science at New Mexico State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computing Science from Sheffield University.

Skip Andrews - VP, Client Services

Skip Andrews brings extensive expertise in large-scale global software development, multicultural internet usability testing, and international website localization. He has extensive management experience in the biotechnology and in mobile communication-technology industries. Prior to joining SiteTuners, Skip Andrews was an Engineering Software Development Manager at Nokia Mobile Phones in charge of over 200 design engineers working on User Interface design and embedded phone software. Prior to Nokia, he has performed many roles including: Chief Operating Officer at Intuitive Design Group, Vice President of Strategic Planning at the Institute for Leadership Studies, User Experience Engineering Director at Stellcom Inc., and Director of Information Services at ADcom Information Services. He has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Humanistic Studies. He currently teaches at San Diego State University College of Extended Studies, and has taught many online and local community college courses.

Larry Marine - Director of User Experience

Larry Marine, is well known and highly regarded in the user-experience field. He has been involved in usability and user-experience design consultanting since 1990 and has written many articles for various trade publications over the years. Prior to joining SiteTuners, Larry founded and ran Intuitive Design Group where his clients included FedEx Kinko's, American Airlines, IMS Health, Cardinal Health - Pyxis, GTE, Proflowers.com, Luminex, Nanogen, Canon, Sony, Lockheed-Martin, U.S. Dept. of Energy, Aonix, Beckman Industries, Fannie Mae, LPL Financial, and Plantronics. Larry earned his Cognitive Science degree at UC San Diego under the tutelage of the father of usability, Dr. Don Norman. He recently co-authored a chapter in the new PDMA ToolBook 3 with Dr. Chad McAllister. The chapter describes Larry's renowned process that objectively quantifies new product's opportunities and aligns the business and user needs to provide a product that meets or exceeds the business objectives while also serving the needs of the target market. He most recently earned his New Product Development Professional certification, a rigorous product management curriculum sponsored by the Product Development Management Association.

Michele Moninger Baker - Director of Corporate Communications

For more than 18 years, Michele has been providing strategic public relations and communications services to technology and vertical-focused companies in the US and internationally. Michele thrives on developing strategic plans and creative communication programs that set companies apart from the masses. She is also passionate in building strategic relationships with key audiences from analysts, media, investors, partners, customers and the community, which has lead to high-level media coverage, investments, sales, partnerships, awards and much more. Michele has served as president of Mambo Communications, vice president for The Ardell Group, and account executive for PR firms including Franson, Hagerty & Associates, CCS and Nuffer, Smith, Tucker of San Diego and Rogers & Cowen of New York City. Past companies Michele represented include Fortune 500s like Cisco, 3Com, National Semiconductor, Hewlett-Packard and Eastman Kodak, many mid-caps, and start-ups such as Streamload, InterVU, OCTuS, E-Color, and the Digital Imaging Group. Michele earned her bachelor's degree in technical journalism with an emphasis on public relations and marketing from Colorado State University.

Guy Davis - Director of Product Development

Guy Davis has over twenty years of experience in software applications development and networking. He has managed and implemented a number of database projects, with a particular emphasis on Internet enabled applications for company intranets as well as e-commerce and consumer applications. He has worked with a number of companies including LegoLand, and the U.S. Navy. Guy received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology.
